Visitation Centers

Children First established a visitation center in 2007 to serve the needs of families in Siskiyou County. The visitation center provides supervised visitation for court ordered visits between the biological family members and their children who have been placed into the foster care system.

The Visitation Center located in Yreka also provides visitation services to non-foster care placement families who have been mandated by family law court to have supervised visits. Visits can be scheduled by calling the Children First office at 530-841-1030 and asking for the Visit Coordinator.

The Visit Facilitators receive ongoing training, under the supervision of a Children First Social Worker, M.S.W., which is necessary to help coach, support, mentor and model appropriate parenting skills, equipping and assisting biological families with the reunification process.
